OK, here is the final plan for cinematography tests:
ReplyDelete- SGBlade 35 mm adapter & 4 Nikkor prime lenses VS. shooting without an adapter
-A few different picture profiles for various parts of the film VS. more neutral shooting profiles with greater emphasis on color grading in post.
-How to neutralize orange sodium lamp temperature for exteriors without cutting light loss. A combination of picture profiles, blue gels on sodium lamps (if possible), and color grading in post.
-Lighting the motorcycles with large soft lights (or anything chrome) along with hard-lit characters in the same shot
-Watered down streets for a post-rain look
-Various methods of shooting night interiors
1. Day for night using ND filters on the windows to cut down window light.
2. Day for night using PD to cover windows and allowing orange streetlight to streak in through tears in the curtains (is this possible to set up, Angel and Amanda?)
3. Night for night using orange streetlamp lights coming in through the windows.
-Haze effects, allowing volumetric lighting (shafts of light). How to regulate and create a consistent volume of haze between shots/setups.
-Various ways to cover the sex scene that cinematographers can use expressively, editors can cut well, and actors and studio teachers will have the least problems with.
Thanks! Hopefully this isn't too much stuff, but it's all vitally important.
